Impacto Praises & Prayer Request, & Christmas Festival Pictures!

“O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.” What beautiful lyrics to sing during this time of the year. We know praising and adoring our Lord should be something we do daily, all year round.

This month we were able to celebrate the Christmas Festival with Happy Tummies San Juan and Panyebar, as well as our Abuelitos and Impacto workers on a large boat! Pastor Luis was telling a boat captain about our ministries and he offered to take us around the lake for a fraction of the prize. We were able to spend time on the boat fellowshipping, observing God’s beautiful creation, eating, and reflecting on what is the importance of this season. We even got a marimba on the boat for everyone to enjoy. It was so much fun and it was possible thanks to each of your donations and prayers.

We were also able to celebrate with our Nueva Vida pastors. We used the opportunity to have a quick meeting before the celebration. It was wonderful to hear them speak about how they each saw God do wonderful things in their homes, their churches, and their communities this year. Of course there are many prayer requests, but all the pastors agreed that the blessings and answered prayers outweighed the hard times. We also had a time of games and fellowshipping around a delicious meal!

We are so grateful to all who joined us in praying and gifting towards our Christmas Festival. And, just as in years past, each family left with a Christmas basket, full of staple food items and goodies, as well as a carton of 30 eggs, and a live chicken for their Christmas dinner. To God be all the glory!

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;

he is the Messiah, the Lord.

Luke 2:11

PRAYER REQUEST

Our prayer request is that you continue to pray for Impacto Ministry. Just as the pastors, we know the blessings and answered prayers outweigh the hard times. But we also know that God uses the hard times for His glory, to bring us closer to Him and teach us more about His goodness and Sovereignty. So, please continue to pray for the Ministries, for provision, and for our staff, that we will keep our eyes set on Him.
